What we treat

Tongue stimulation
The Tonguetip, specifically designed to treat tinnitus, sits comfortably in the closed mouth. Tiny electrodes deliver mild and safe energy pulses to the surface of the tip of the tongue.

Sound and tongue stimulation, paired — twice a day.
Lenire plays sounds through headphones and provides gentle pulses to the tongue via the Tonguetip. The sounds and pulses work together to retrain your brain, so you pay less attention to your tinnitus and it has less impact on your day-to-day life.

How much does Lenire cost?
The full treatment is $3,899, or as low as $96/month with financing.* That includes your tinnitus assessment, hearing test, the Lenire device configured to your hearing, your fitting, every check-in during the twelve weeks, and your final review. No hidden fees.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, with approved credit:
- 18 months, no interest if paid in full: about $217/month (HealthiPlan)
- 12 months, no interest if paid in full: about $325/month (CareCredit)
- Up to 50 months at 9.99% APR: as low as $96/month (HealthiPlan)
On the no-interest plans, interest is charged from the purchase date if the balance isn’t paid in full within the promotional period.
Does insurance cover it?
No. Insurance, including Medicare, doesn’t cover Lenire. That’s why we keep the price all-inclusive, offer financing, and make sure you know it’s likely to help before you commit.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
In many cases, yes. Lenire is prescribed by a clinician, so it’s often an eligible expense. Check with your plan administrator, and we’ll provide the documentation you need.
What if it doesn’t work for me?
Because Lenire is personally configured and used in your mouth, we can’t accept returns. That’s exactly why we assess you first: if Lenire isn’t likely to help you, we’ll tell you before you buy it, not after.

Does it hurt?
No. The tongue stimulation is described as a mild tingling, and you control the intensity yourself throughout every session.
Will it get rid of my tinnitus?
There is no cure for tinnitus, and anyone who tells you otherwise is not being straight with you. The goal of treatment is to reduce the impact tinnitus has on your life so that it stops being a problem, whether or not the sound is still there.
How long before I notice anything?
A standard course runs twelve weeks, with check-ins along the way. Some people notice change earlier, some later, and some do not respond — which is what the assessment is designed to predict.
Are you the manufacturer?
No. Lenire is designed and manufactured by Neuromod Devices. We are an independent, authorized provider who assesses patients for the device, fits it and supports you through treatment.
Can I use it with hearing aids?
Many people have both hearing loss and tinnitus. We will look at your hearing at assessment and advise how the two fit together in your situation.
